Northwest China's Shaanxi Province is set to host the First International Apple Symposium on Monday as the region aims to produce one-seventh of the world's apples by the end of this year.

According to a press conference in Beijing on Sunday Dan Feeney Jersey , the symposium will be held from Monday to October 16 in the cities of Yangling and Yan'an, Shaanxi Province. The symposium will be attended by more than 1,000 representatives from governments and enterprises, as well as 150 experts from more than 30 countries and regions.

According to statistics released at the press conference, Shaanxi exported 510,000 tons of apples in the first half of this year.
